Expectations

Disappointment can be defined as not getting what one expects.  Anyone whose expectations are greater than they receive is disappointed.

While we would like to accomplish for every person exactly what he/she wants, this is not possible. No one has ever pleased everybody.

Some things that are fairly complicated can be accomplished, while others that are very simple cannot be.  For example, nasal-lacrimal duct obstruction can usually be corrected, but if a person wants to be taller, this cannot be done.

Through communication, we need to find out what a person wants and what they expect.  We need to explain as clearly as possible what can be accomplished and what it is like to go through the process. Our thorough consultation with analyses, drawings and explanations achieves this.

We can be most helpful if we thoroughly understand what you want and expect.  You will have an easier time with less anxiety if you know what is going to happen and are prepared.
